Every Jamaica Inn guest who has requested a refund of their advance payment of their room booking, rather than move it to later in the year, has been fully refunded. That is our policy, unlike some other hotels we hear of. Furthermore if bookings have not been cancelled, we are even contacting those guests at least two weeks in advance to offer a later booking or a full refund. We are just about to ring guests with bookings during the last two weeks of May. The Inn is ready for you! The grass is cut, hedges trimmed, courtyard hanging baskets are looking lovely, bar and restaurant spotless and even the bedrooms are being regularly refreshed despite nobody sleeping in them! Our bar order is ready and kitchen supply lists prepared – our owner Allen is sticking his neck out and predicting being able to open our restaurant and with it our hotel (with table distancing) sometime during the 4 weeks between 25 May to 22 June. Let’s see if he’s right?
