Jamaica Inn Takes A Starring Role In Popular French TV Show

Jamaica Inn has been the focus of the TV cameras this week. A French film crew have been shooting scenes forFoeterien, a showwhich invites viewers to follow the adventures of six contestants who are on the trail of seven major historical figures throughout Cornwall. Each contestant is given just €50 each at the start of their seven day journey and theyhave to use whatever means they can to get around the 7 historical locations.Tasks and competitions are thrown in along the way -just to keep things interesting! It will be no surprise to those who know Jamaica Inn that the contestants were on the trail of Daphne du Maurier, all six made it here in one pieceand we wish them luck with the rest of their adventures!

Opening times... Jamaica Inn is open from 7.30am, when breakfast is served to hotel guests and visitors, right through to midnight with dinner being served up to 9pm. The Museums are open from 8am to 9pm throughout the year and the Gift Shop and Farm Shop are open every day with times varying.
