The Inn has now confirmed both its Gift Shop and Farm Shop will be open through the winter. The new Farm Shop opened last July and the Gift Shop has previously been routinely closed mid-week during mid- winter.

A large new wood burning stove has now been installed in the Pedlars restaurant area replacing a modern electric fire installed by the previous owners. This new stove is bringing welcoming natural warmth and the delicious smell of burning wood to just inside Pedlars entrance.

New Year's Eve was the busiest at the Inn within living memory some say. About 150 celebrated 2017’s arrival in true style to the disco music of Shaun Carter who was at the Inn for the third year running. Dancing and merriment went on until nearly 2am!

The perfect setting for an evening of exciting entertainment solving a mystery portrayed dramatically by actors whilst you enjoy a 3 course meal. Can you and your fellow ‘amateur detectives’ work out who committed the crime? Tickets are £35 per person. Always a popular night so early booking is advised.
