Here's an opportunity to spot planets and star clusters at an event celebrating the exceptional dark night sky of Bodmin Moor, which was designated an International Dark Sky Landscape in July after a successful bid by Cornwall Council and Caradon Observatory.The dark sky evening on 21 October will be in two parts. Exciting news: the application by Cornwall Council and Caradon Observatory has been successful and Bodmin Moor has been designated an “International Dark Sky Landscape” by the International Dark-Sky Association. A hog roast in the garden every Saturday from 29 July; on Friday 4 August & Sunday 20 August - Mark’s Ark Wildlife Encounter - creepy critters, birds, mini beasts; Saturday 19 August - a visit from the Screech Owl Sanctuary - learn about the wonderful owls of our world.
