What a party!

New Year's Eve was the busiest at the Inn within living memory some say. About 150 celebrated 2017’s arrival in true style to the disco music of Shaun Carter who was at the Inn for the third year running. Dancing and merriment went on until nearly 2am!

New warmth to Pedlars

A large new wood burning stove has now been installed in the Pedlars restaurant area replacing a modern electric fire installed by the previous owners. This new stove is bringing welcoming natural warmth and the delicious smell of burning wood to just inside Pedlars entrance.

Inn's shops will be open all year round

The Inn has now confirmed both its Gift Shop and Farm Shop will be open through the winter. The new Farm Shop opened last July and the Gift Shop has previously been routinely closed mid-week during mid- winter.

New rooms for summer 2017

16 more rooms are now being built by A D Williams Builders who also built Jamaica Inn’s big new kitchen. Building is at the extreme eastern end of the Inn’s current building thus construction is with minimal noise for guests. Completion is expected to be in June and the new rooms will take the Inn from 20 rooms to 36 rooms.

Snow fell for the first time this winter to any depth on Thursday 12th January.

Opening times... Jamaica Inn is open from 7.30am, when breakfast is served to hotel guests and visitors, right through to midnight with dinner being served up to 9pm. The Museums are open from 8am to 9pm throughout the year and the Gift Shop and Farm Shop are open every day with times varying.
